Second place or not, this was OUR favorite photo for it's level of difficulty!
The Story.
So a guy walks into a jewelry store with a box and.....just teasing. But, a guy walked into our store after he called first, and we sat and designed this ring in less than an hour! He knew exactly what he wanted and we got him there! This was truly an awesome example of repurposing precious metals and stones and something we have become famous for now. We literally took 2 platinum rings, removed the diamonds, built a CAD model to fit her finger, reused the platinum and reset the stones and WOW! A truly spectacular everyday ring.
The Process.
Again, platinum. It is THE only way to go when you are using diamonds all the way around a ring and setting a center stone that isn't yours. We actually had our security updated and Jewelers Mutual insurance policy reviewed while working on this and the next few projects, sometimes all at the same time. No problem.
