In the World of Spiral Dynamics, the color yellow is associated with a certain frequency level that a person has chosen to view their relationship with the metaphysical world.  In our world, we focus on being creative and collaborating with other people to fulfill THEIR vision, not solely on our own.

"Okay great, but what about the butterfly?"

Around the time Linden Hills Jewelers was being established, the owner of the store was out in his yard cutting the lawn and cleaning things up, when a HUGE butterfly caught his attention! It swirled and spiraled and dove repeatedly barely landing on a tree branch nearby and then taking off again, like a fighter jet missing it's landing on a carrier.  Baaack up it would go.  After several attempts Jason realized, this was no accident, so he grabbed his iPhone and snapped a few photos of the butterfly.  What a wonderful synchronicity, he thought, that a yellow butterfly was repeatedly landing on the branch of this tree that he planted just a few years ago and (......are you ready....?) the tree is known as a "butterflies' Yellow Magnolia, specifically bred by the University of Minnesota for Gertens Landscaping as a hybrid to sustain the brutal Minnesota winters and since has become the symbol of the business.
