Hand engraving is the benchmark for any well trained jeweler. Whether it is demonstrated in the style of stone setting, like french cut pave, or just the way your jewelry sparkles when you wear it. It takes years to master the process. Simply put, hand engraving makes good jewelry design look great, period. Did you know? Each facet of light has it's own angle reflecting back from the metal in a calculated manner? The tools we use are sharpened to a mirror polish that leaves a bright, mercury type finish in your gold and platinum and the fluid lines you see are merely our understanding of light, shape and form that dances before your eyes!
Many of the projects we take on require the use what is called a pneumatic hand piece and when used in conjunction with a microscope, it is actually more precise, in detail, than going to a dentist! And there is no novicane required. With years of experience handling family heirlooms, we treat each item as though it were our own. So, you can rest assured the work being done will be tip top.
