How it Works.
Step 1. Be Inspired!
Many of our clients come to us because they have a story or memory they would like to incorporate directly into their jewelry. Our team has decades of design experience and is super helpful when it comes to incorporating these elements into your unique custom jewelry.

Step 2. Meet with us!
Virtually, or in person, we operate with a high level of professionalism when it comes to running our small business, but have eliminated the sales pressure and the tie. We are happy to have a quick chat over the phone and explain how to get things rolling, but since it can get pretty busy in our tiny studio, we recommend scheduling a brief in person meeting first. We will simply sit down with you, grab a coffee and discuss your custom design ideas privately in our consultation area and on your schedule. We even do a lot of work remotely these days, so if that is the most convenient route for you, and you know your tech, just let us know and we are happy to accommodate!

Step 3. Approve the Design.
Our custom design projects generally begin with a CAD model. In short, CAD stands for computer aided design and allows us to create a 3D rendering of your jewelry first. This is pretty much the industry standard for designing production jewelry today. After we have had the initial design consultation and with your approval, we have a 3D model 'printed' into a material that you can come in and try on! It's pretty cool. Generally speaking, we design a piece of jewelry based upon your finger size, stone size and take your design ideas from there. The whole process should take less than 5 weeks to complete and you can rest assured we will work with you until you are completely confident it's just right. We want you to love wearing it! The real magic happens at our jeweler's benches tho.....

Step 4. Watch it being made!
This is an awesome service most jewelry stores don't provide because they don't make what they sell. We fabricate things from scratch and send you a behind the scenes look along the way that you can share with your friends! We give you an inside look at what we are doing and update you with interesting photos showing you the progress. So you can relax, there will be no rabbits pulled from a hat, just beautifully crafted custom designed jewelry made specifically for you, by us!

Take it home or have it shipped!
At Linden Hills Jewelers, custom designed jewelry is our specialty. We custom design all types of jewelry, from micro paved style wedding and engagement rings, to eternity bands with colored gemstones. We also create earrings, bracelets, pendants and more. Many of our customers have old jewelry they have inherited and aren't sure what to do with, so we will happily look things over and see what we can come up with! We are experts in platinum restoration and delicate antique pieces as well and use laser technology to do most of our work. We maintain an extraordinary level of craftsmanship in all of our work AND we do traditional jewelry repairs as well.
