Restoration and Repairs

Restoration & Repairs

We can handle almost any repair, alteration or full restoration project you can throw at us!  We do everything from simply sizing a ring to fit your finger, to breathing life back into a piece of jewelry that is on it's last legs.  Just bring it on by our shop so we can take a look at what you have and we will explain your options.  At that time, we will also give an estimate of what it would cost to get the job done.  We understand sentiment and since a lot of things we work on are heirlooms, we take great care in handling our clients jewelry throughout the process.
As a small business, we tend to be super honest about what is involved for each project and let you know up front if it is actually worth the investment.  We don't try and spend peoples money, but we also don't do work that we can't stand behind.  Often times the cost for repair exceeds the actual value of the jewelry item, but we do an amazing job....just read our reviews!

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can you help me identify antique jewelry that I'm not even sure is real?   "YES! We have tons of experience looking at valuables and not-so-valuables and will recommend our appraisal services if it is worth it."
2. Will you give me money for my stuff?  "No. We will offer a credit for gold or stones only when being used toward a custom project."
3. Can you restore old jewelry so I can where it everyday?  "Yes, we do most work with a laser welder that won't produce heat near delicate areas....it's not inexpensive, but it is the most reliable method for repair work, particularly if you plan to put the ring to use on a regular basis."
4. Will you take the stones out of an old ring and put them in a new one for me?  "If it is diamonds, yes. If the gems are worn and possibly fragile, maybe."
5. I have a ring I need sized, but it is super tiny, can you do that? "Like most repairs, it is super helpful to have it in front of us so we can discuss the best options...there's lots of tiny areas to peak at under a microscope after we have cleaned your items for you."
